Julian’s Bar Mitzvah ~ Congregation Shalom

I photographed Julian’s family and a little bit of the rehearsal on Friday May 10th. Congregation Shalom is one of my favorite places to photograph – it’s so beautiful and Rabbi Shapiro is always so accommodating. I came back the next night to cover the party. Julian had a baseball theme for his party and the family did an awesome job with the décor and all the fun baseball inspired snacks! The food was catered by Ferrante’s and the desserts were gorgeous. The DJ’s from Celebrations Entertainment did an amazing job – they played some fun games and kept the dance floor packed all night.  It was SO much fun! Check out this awesome highlight slideshow, featuring our own version of the Harlem Shake here or below:

baseball theme bar mitzvah party

The baseballs in the grass made such cool centerpieces and was the perfect way to carry the theme through to the table décor.

The concession stand was such a great idea!

The boys and girls raced to see who could pass the hula hoop the fastest. The boys won!

This game was pretty hilarious to watch!

baseball theme desserts

Almost too pretty to eat! The way they incorporated the theme into the desserts was really creative.
